The Casa del Balilla, designed by architect Umberto Cuzzi (1891-1973) and erected in 1928-1929, was originally inaugurated in 1933 as the headquarter of Giovani Italiane, the Fascist organization for teenage girls, as shown in a documentary by the Istituto Luce.
